Brief Description
To provide effective and efficient Retail Service Management for all Truworths Divisions, i.e. Head Office, Distribution Centres and SA & International Stores.
Key Responsibilities
·         Be responsible to manage the following KPA’so    Operational Risko    Work Force Management

o    Task Management

o    Enterprise Content Management

 

·         Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the above teams and functional areas

·         Ensure that Operational Risk is run effectively and productively

·         Manage the Supplier relationships related to operational risk

·         Manage all EAS related functions, i.e. new installations, day-to-day management of issues

·         Manage all operational day-to-day issues related to Chubb/Intruder, RTT/courier, Mutual/National Safes, G4S/CIT, Standard Bank/banking, Security Companies

·          Manage all claims by operations and the Unison day-to-day relationship

·         All general risk admin related functions

·         Manage and maintain the annual risk register from all the various functional areas with Truworths

·         Manage all facets related to Work Force Management, i.e. from training, to upgrades, to day-to-day management of the applications

·         Ensure all targets as set by the Retail services & Risk Manager are implemented and achieved

·         Manage all facets related to Task Management, i.e. from training, to upgrades, to day-to-day management of the applications

·         Ensure that the effective participation of the ECM project

·         Manage the process through into production covering all related areas from operations to head offices

·         Act as Operational and Head Office escalation point for all the above KPA’s on all issues arising from day to day activities

·         Relevant ad hoc tasks from time to time

 

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:MatricA BCom level tertiary qualification will be advantageous

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:

Current management experience at least area manager

Project manager level a pre-requisite

Team Leader with Managerial experience in similar position

Experience of Best Practices

Experience in trouble shooting & problem solving techniques

Knowledge of various applications in use in Truworths

Extremely personable and enthusiastic and have the will to get the job done ensuring business and user satisfaction at all costs

Dynamic individual who will take ownership of all KPA’s

Ability to effectively prioritise, delegate and work under pressure

Ability to manage customer expectation and conflict

Demonstrate history of leadership and management

Adaptability and ability to think on your feet

Planning and organising ability with highly effective time management skills

Excellent verbal communication and people skills at all levels

Strong team player, committed and energetic

Knowledge of the Truworths Operations environment will be advantageous
